About the Journal
Studium. Filosofía y Teología (ISSN 0329-8930, ISSNL 2591-426X) is a biannual journal published by UNSTA’s School of Humanities (Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino, Tucumán, Argentina), together with the Center of Studies of the Dominican Order (CEOP), of the Dominican Province of Argentina and Chile. Its periodicity is biannual: two issues every year (January-June and July-December).
Studium was preceded by the journal Estudios Teológicos y Filosóficos, which first appeared in 1959 and, although interrupted over more than ten years (1966-1976), reached until 1979, editing a total of 10 issues. The task was resumed in 1998 with the uninterrupted publication of Studium. Filosofía y Teología.
Studium’s aim is to contribute to the scientific expression and communication in the fields of philosophy and theology. The journal is published in paper and in digital form, and it contains articles and book reviews. Manuscripts are reviewed by qualified peers according to the procedures indicated in the Author Guidelines, published in each issue and in the journal’s website. Studium is an indexed journal, and it is distributed and exchanged nationally and internationally with many other journals and researchers.
The publication in the journal does not entail any cost for the authors, under any circumstances. Studium appreciates the effort and collaboration of authors, reviewers and members of the Editorial Boards and Advisory Board, who do not receive financial remuneration.
At present Studium’s paper edition reaches public and private universities, study centers, research institutes, national libraries, foundations, monasteries, academies, publishing houses, etc. Studium is open access, following the principle of making research freely available to the public, which fosters a great global exchange of knowledge.
