Fray Ángel María Boisdron, French Dominican (1845-1924) was a tireless traveler, and wrote each tour describing the details he observed of the landscape and its people. He settled in Argentina in 1876 and the province of Tucumán was his adopted homeland. He made several trips to Europe to participate in General Chapters of the Order, he skirted the African coasts and toured the Holy Land and Egypt. He contemplated the landscapes of the Tucuman mountain and its people, while describing his path through Palestine. He was recognized as the heir of Lacordaire and sought to be contemporary with his time like him. In his travel writing he showed his representations about Europe, America or the Near East seeking to explain himself, intuiting himself as a citizen of the world. In this work I seek to reconstruct his itineraries and analyze the writing of Boisdron (travel stories, autobiography, letters, journalistic articles and conferences) seeking to unravel his gaze, the representations that permeate his nomadic writing.
